Rising First Grade Seeking Teacher

First Grade Teacher 2017/2018

The ideal candidate will have Waldorf Training and experience. Consideration will be given to teachers already in a training cycle. Musical and artistic abilities are an asset. A deep commitment to Waldorf principles; love of working with children, enthusiasm, good interpersonal/communication skills, willingness to cultivate effective parent-teacher communication/ education, and the ability to participate in an active community life are essential.

You will be joining an enthusiastic group of teachers and staff who are devoted to the study of the ever evolving human being. We are an established school of 30 years located on the banks of the Susquehanna River in south central Pennsylvania, in the historic village of Marietta. 

SWS serves Parent/Child through Grade Eight. Our specialty classes include: Music, Chorus, Orchestra, Spanish, Mandarin, Handwork, Woodwork and blocks of Eurythmy. Our vibrant community offers opportunity for Anthroposophical study, parent education and seasonal festivals.

SWS serves Parent/Child through Grade Eight. We have a strong Early Childhood program that fills our halls with tinkling laughter, sweet song and delicious wafts of baked treats. Our vibrant community offers opportunity for Anthroposophical study, parent education and seasonal festivals.
