SWS welcomes two new class teachers for the 2016-17 school year

SWS is pleased to announce the addition of two new Class Teachers. Doug Wallace will be teaching Class 8/7 and Rochelle Deitz will be leading Class 1.

Doug spent 14 years teaching elementary school in Camden, NJ, 12 of which in junior high. Having moved to central PA, he has been teaching high school English in two adjudicated facilities, Manos House in Columbia and Abraxas South Mountain near Chambersburg. You can also see him at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire this season as an actor and dramaturge.

Rochelle first came to SWS in 2001, and spent 10 years as a class teacher bringing with her a deep and abiding appreciation for the art of teaching.  Before delightedly returning to SWS in 2014 as our Music teacher, Rochelle spent the last several years co-creating a nature based camp program, Heritage Creek Farm Camp.   Her son Gabriel is in the SWS Class of 2019 and is excited to have his mom back at school full time.

Please be sure to say hello to Mr Wallace and Mrs Deitz, as we are thrilled to have them join our faculty.
