SWS to Welcome AWSNA Mentor

All Waldorf schools in the US are governed by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA). As part of our developing school phase, AWSNA is providing our school with a mentor. Next Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1st and 2nd, we will have a visit from our AWSNA mentor, Ihor Radysh. Ihor is an experienced Waldorf teacher and a Eurythmist. In his own words, “I attended the Steiner school from grade 5 and graduated from high school. After studying at CCNY (City College of NY) and the Goetheanum in Switzerland, I taught for 30 years at the Steiner School in New York. I have also worked for a structural engineering firm and have my own business now. But, most importantly, I am a friend of SWS.”

This will be Ihor's third visit to SWS. He will be observing three classes (1, 2, 7/8), and taking part in various meetings, including the Parent Guild Meeting on Wednesday morning. We are so looking forward to his visit.
