fund raising

SWS has grown and blossomed through the support of our community and tireless fundraising by our families and faculty. Below, you'll find some of the ways you can contribute to our cause.

PA-EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit)

Pennsylvania’s tax credit legislation enables businesses to donate their tax dollars to a scholarship fund—making a real difference in the lives of children seeking a better education.  This program allows businesses to redirect 75 to 90% of their business taxes to support K-12 scholarships.

The Susquehanna Waldorf School benefits from this scholarship fund and would like to thank the businesses who contribute:
Donegal Mutual Insurance Company
Union National Bank

Through York County Community Foundation (www.yccf.org)  EITC’s Opportunity Scholarship Fund the following companies
Frontier Communications
Graystone Bank
Highmark
Lift, Inc.
Metro Bank
PPL Electric Utilities
PPL Susquehanna LLC
UPMC Diversified Services, Inc.
United Concordia Companies, Inc.

If you have a business and would like to contribute to our scholarship fund please contact Maria Wherley at maria.wherley@susquehanna.org.

winter fair

A celebrated tradition at Susquehanna Waldorf, our beloved school magically transforms into a seasonal gem as parents create this event anew each year.  The fair raises money in support of our school while bringing people together in celebration. Simultaneously our community reaches out to the greater community providing donations for a worthy cause. With great anticipation we look forward to the first weekend each December in sharing this event with one another and you, do join us!
